A Whirlwind or Should I say Tornado of a Week

We have been very blessed along our journey to Utah. The night we were suppose to leave there were 10 tornado's in our path. We left on a Friday instead at 9:00 pm. We had several people advising us to stay. We are both stubborn. We drove until about 3:30 am and stop at a rest stop in Iowa to sleep. After a little rest we were back on the road again. We were trying not to stay in a hotel along the way but that didn't work to well. We came to a town call Ogalluga, Nebraska and decided that we had had enough. David tried calling trip reward to see if he had enough points to stay for free but they were closed. All the other hotel were outrageously priced. David was really frustrated. Well it was a good thing that we decided to move on because a tornado hit the town that night and we were safely in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the last leg of the journey. We finally arrived in Midvale Sunday evening. Since then we have had Grandma's birthday, duck feeding, car washing, moving going, cousins over blast of a time. It has been a week of adjustments and learning. I really miss Eau Claire. I know we are suppose to be here though. It doesn't make it in easier. All this has taken place in a little over two weeks. It is hard to believe how fast life can change.

2 What'd ya think?:

I don't know how you have made it through this whirlwind of a move. All that matters is that your family is together and save.I am glad that you all have arrived safely and you all are adjusting well.
Hugs & kisses!
